間口約7m奥行き14mの東京的とも言える敷地における、木造二階建て住宅の計画。厳しい高さ制限をクリアしながら、天井高4m約33㎡の大きな気積をもったLDKを計画。この大きな気積によって全方位から光や風が抜け、柔らかい光があふれる空気感のある空間になっている。部屋の境は開放可能な引戸にしてお互いが繋がり、中庭からは光や風が届けられる。東京の狭さや息苦しさに抗うような、明るく優しい光のあふれる建築を実現している。

The plan was for a two-story wooden house on a typical Tokyo site with a width of approximately 7m and a depth of 14m. While clearing strict height restrictions, the plan included a large living, dining, and kitchen area with a ceiling height of 4m and a volume of approximately 33m². This large volume allows light and breezes to flow in from all directions, creating an airy space filled with soft light. The rooms are connected to each other with openable sliding doors, and light and breezes can be found in the courtyard. The result is a bright, gentle, light-filled house that counters the crampedness and stuffiness of Tokyo.
